It started this way: I saw an article on one of my LinkedIn newsletters talking about how to use Pinterest for your non-profit organization. I have seen references to Pinterest on friends’ Facebook statuses, mostly saying how addicting it is, so I was curious.
So, I sent off for an invitation. (Officially it’s still in Beta.) Today I received it, and went to sign up. However, to sign up I had to use either a Facebook Timeline, or a Twitter account. I did not want to turn on Timeline on Facebook until I absolutely had to, so I did something less bad and signed up for Twitter. You can find me at @deb_durant (clever, I know). I used that to set up my Pinterest account, where I am debdurant. Look me up if you are really bored, and you can be even more bored.
